What should you expect from your first visit? Get all the information you need, from financial and insurance information to our procedures.
First Visit
We are delighted you have chosen our office to provide your dental care.
On your first visit to our office we will examine your teeth and gums, will do an oral cancer screening, we will take and review your X-rays, and we will screen for gum disease. Patients in need of a simple prophy type cleaning will also typically have their teeth cleaned on the first visit. Also as part of your first visit we want to hear your concerns and desires for your teeth. Once all the information is gathered we will formulate a treatment plan that addresses any problems you may have and achieves your expressed goals for your teeth. We strive to partner with our patients to achieve optimum oral health for everyone under our care and you will never feel pressured to seek treatment you are not comfortable with.
If you have any current X-rays you plan to transfer to our office please have the X-rays transferred to our office at least two days prior to your appointment.
We look forward to meeting you!
Dental Insurance
At Carolina Mountain Dental we strive to provide you with the finest care and will work with you to maximize your insurance benefits. Please understand we are always here to assist you with your insurance but we have no influence over your insurance company and some claims are denied. Copays are due at time of service and any claim not paid by the insurance company within sixty days of the service rendered date becomes the responsibility of the patient.
