On April 2nd, 2022, our hygienists were one of the first 100 hygienists in North Carolina to complete the course work and clinical hours to become certified to give local anesthesia. The state of North Carolina just passed the law permitting dental hygienists to give local after the completion of at home studies and clinical hours and exams. We are very proud to announce both ladies passed with flying colors. This will be a great skill for them to offer local anesthesia to our patients in the hygiene chair if you are experiencing any sensitivity. Way to go Amy and Michelle! We are so proud of you!
